What is so different about a Subaru?
That is a great question that we love to answer!
All Subaru vehicles, (Forester, Outback, WRX, Crosstrek, Legacy, BRZ, Ascent, Crosstrek Hybrid), house a completely unique engine called the Subaru Boxer Engine. While other vehicle brands have a vertical shaped piston design, the Boxer Engine is horizontal, allowing for shorter piston fire. This design enables a quieter, smoother ride, creates optimal balancing, and saves on fuel.
Along with the Boxer Engine design, all Subaru models, (excluding the BRZ), have Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, perfect and necessary for harsh weather conditions and off-road travel.
Subaru designers truly kept the consumer in mind when adding these meaningful improvements to their vehicles. And do not worry. You will not be slighted on those fun, entertaining extras … those are included, too!
Is maintaining a Subaru harder than other vehicles because of the unique features?
