SN95 Mustang Problems
Among the problems that plague the Mustang from the mid-90s to the mid-2000s, two stand out. Models from the early 2000s experienced an issue where the door window motor would seize following a considerable amount of time sitting in the sun. Drivers caught onto the connection between sun exposure and the subsequent malfunction, leading them to start parking their cars in the shade. Sure enough, the motor would eventually free up, and the window began operating correctly again.
The second problem that the SN95 experienced was with the Modular V8, which it used between 1996 and 2010. A common issue early in the motor's life was the case of spark plugs popping out of the cylinder banks due to the plug threads not being tapped deep enough. Ford eventually sold Heli-Coil kits to help owners fix this problem.
Yet Another Mustang Issue
Another well-known issue facing the Mustang over the years didn't involve a particular model. Rather, it was the MT-82 manual transmission. For a while, there were problems with the shifter linkage. The bolts holding it in place could back out without much effort. Ford worked on the issue throughout the years, and by 2014, many of the problems involving the linkage were fixed.
Misaligned Tesla Panels
No, electric vehicles are not exempt from having weird problems. The car's interior is well-known to have sizable gaps, particularly when it comes to the center console. W210 Mercedes-Benz Problems
Mercedes-Benz is no stranger to mediocre design. Its E-class from 1996-2013, also known as the W210 chassis, has its own problems. One such issue pertained to the E55 AMG, where the engine will crank but not turn over. Luckily for owners, this is an easy and cheap fix in the form of a fuel filter replacement.
Another AMG problem is warped front disc brakes. Some owners reported having to replace their front rotors every six months. The cause of this usually boiled down to brake cooling or the lug nuts being torqued too tight or unevenly, the latter being the case with the G-Class in later years. Unfortunately, replacing warped rotors on an AMG is an expensive undertaking.
Aside from the warped rotors problem, these issues aren't overly impactful to the car's health. But they are nuisances worth getting fixed.
